Splendor

'Sunsets, architecture, hot summer days and memories of different places I visited are all sources of inspiration for this vibrant piece. Initially I wanted to create a summer sunset themed painting. However after a few sketches I decided to go more geometric and abstract but still use sunset colors. Everything in this painting radiates from the center like an echo. Although the viewers attention is drawn towards the center of this piece the surrounding elements are just as vivid, detailed and dynamic but in different ways. I call this painting "Splendor" because it's a tribute to all the amazing architecture we've created throughout humanity everywhere and all the beauty nature has to offer if we could stop to notice it even if only for a moment.
